embrace the camera 9/13/2012

I haven't "embraced the camera" in a few weeks.... 

Auden and I just got back from a little picnic outside our apartment building.

it was my very first picnic with my little boy.

just a little date with him. 

we ate some fresh fruit...

giggled...

cuddled...

played with our music box...

gah! 

i just love this boy so much.

this last picture cracks. me. up.

he obviously approves of my silly faces and noises. 

as if that to-die-for smile wasn't proof enough....

Have you heard of this?

basically it's just take a picture of you and your family. so that you have pictures to look back on and think about all those wonderful memories. it's really sweet actually and I think I might try it... so every Thursday, I'll try and post a picture of me and my loves together. 

This first photo is from last night. As I was finishing up dinner, Nelson had Auden and was oh you know, just chillin.  We decided we'd all just have a family chill-out/cuddle time. it was a simple, happy moment. 
The second is from today. After coming back from a walk with Auden, he and I were battling on seeing who could give each other more kisses. ;) I'd kiss his sweet little cheeks and he'd giggle. then i'd giggle. then he'd giggle some more.  {this could partly be due to him being pretty sleepy... we know he's ready for a nap when he laughs at everything we do. what a funny kid} makes me excited for more moments like these.
