the first snow

it snowed this weekend!!

People in our ward who've been here for a while said that it was the warmest October in years...

and they don't remember the last time it snowed before Halloween.

I took some pictures on our way to church yesterday to show the lightly frosted grounds of Boston. 

there it is! the snow!

the leaves just started to change [beautiful] around here, and now it's snowed!! 

we're bracing ourselves for the brutal winters.
