a date for two before it becomes three

On Friday night, my fantastic husband surprised me with a special date night. 

I had NO idea! 

He came out of the bedroom, dressed in his coat, at 9:30PM and I asked him where he was going... and he said, "The movies. Are you coming?" 

I looked at him like "uh-huh" and pestered him some more.  

Then he pulled out two movie tickets!

to Big Miracle. 

I had been really wanting to go see this movie and unfortunately (surprisingly--I see Greenpeace people downtown all the time) it was hard for us to find a showing.  So I figured we'd just watch it when it came out later. 

But he did his thing and there we were on opening night!

Another great thing: Friday meant we were full-term! It was extra special to go out with my husband on a date night for just us two before our little guy joins us.  I'm so excited for us to become a family of three, but it's been so sweet to be just us two.  I just love that man so much.
