things got crazy.
highlights from the past month:
This is from when my family came for Thanksgiving. Never posted these pictures so I thought it was about time. This is during our Freedom Trail tour:
Nelson finished his first semester with flying colors! Way to go, husband!
We had our very first Christmas as a married/pregnant couple!
We headed over to Utah after Nelson finished school and stayed there for a month. I didn't realize how much I missed family, friends, and Utah until we got there. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone.
Are those not THE cutest pajamas??
Are those not THE cutest kids?? Love them. Miss them.
So, my family has always done Christmas in a very laid back way. We never had stockings or anything so this was my first Christmas with a stocking! Extra presents? Yes, please. Thank you, S(t)anta and Mrs. S(t)anta!
We all got matching PJs.
And Katy made matching hats for the boys. So cool.
LOOK AT ALL THE PRESENTS!!! Appropriate for 14 people (hopefully I did my math right...)
sorry for the blur...
Nelson's first gift... it was around 5... 6? something-early-AM. He obviously was not ready for a picture....
until...
he got this awesome Ninja Turtle backpack with masks!!!
Here's my family's Christmas!! Just a littler smaller.... :)
After Christmas I got to see some old friends. Crazy how much has changed since high school...
Krista and her cute lil boy, Luke:
Sara and her Beau (that's his name :)
matchy-matchy!
Aw, I adore these girls. So many precious, fun memories. We're all going to be mamas of boys soon-- all about 3 months apart. So fun! Thanks for all the advice, ladies.
Nelson and I also got to have a big group lunch with our friends in Provo. Yay for Pizza Pie Cafe's $5 Buffet!!
Friends from freshman year:
only missing Jessica...
So, pretty much love this man.
We went shopping to Park City with my family (sort of a tradition), and we have this neck pillow in the back of the car. Nelson thought it'd be a nice accessory to take around with him for when he got tired. Genius.
First store my mom wanted to go to: Gymboree. She's getting pretty excited. Shopping wears out this poor guy though.
Oh, the things he does to amuse me.
We carried this with us to every store. He even wore it as a hat at one point.
Maybe I walked from a distance sometimes... maybe.....
Maybe I walked from a distance sometimes... maybe.....
We also went to Antelope Island.
Last year when Nelson stayed over at my house during Christmas Break, my dad really wanted to take him to Antelope Island. I said no. It's not one of my favorite places... it's kind of boring to me. Well, this year, we had no say-- we had to go. But it turned out to be pretty cool. We went at a great time to take pictures and Nelson and my dad had a hoot of a time being the bison's paparazzis. We were there for a couple hours... stopping every few minutes......... I stayed in the car most of the time.
I didn't take any pictures, but Nelson did with one of my dad's cameras, so unfortunately, I don't have the evidence of Nelson's fantastic photography skills. But I do have these little gems.
he's taking a picture of a bison. (click to enlarge to see them. he got much closer later. no fear that one)
Well, we're back in Boston now. There was FINALLY snow here when we got back. It made us pretty happy. Now it's all gone though. Weird weather this year....
We miss everyone!!!
Come see us sooooon!
We love you!!
Wow Antelope Island looks beautiful!! What a fun outing. I like the picture of you and Nelson in front of the tree (is that Harvard Sq...I have no idea.)
